It is of utmost importance for us to maintain and further develop our reputation as one of the top summer baseball organizations in the country. We feel we can better serve our players and the college coaches/professional scouts who follow us by putting all of our efforts into one elite club. We realize that this decision will impact a number of players from our drawing area.

With this in mind, former Midwest Nationals Pitching Coach, Alan Mahaffey, is expanding his Midwest Mud Dogs organization to include teams ranging from 17u to 12u for the 2010 summer season. The Mud Dogs academy style structure will allow additional players from this region another avenue in which to participate and develop by playing against other high level summer baseball competition. The Nationals fully support Alan and his staff in this endeavor.

Tryout information for the Mud Dogs will be available soon at www.midwestmuddogs.com. For questions about the Mud Dogs, please email Alan Mahaffey at midwestmuddogs@gmail.com.
