The Midwest Nationals bested Building Champions 3-1 in eight innings on Thursday at Mizzou as Cameron O’Brien collected three hits.
Jake O’Brien looked sharp on the rubber. Building Champions managed just one hit off of the the Midwest Nationals’ pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work.
Austin Tribby had great control, as he threw strikes on 32 of his 54 pitches. Tribby struck out seven and walked two for the Midwest Nationals.
