<p>The <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a> and Collierville both had chances on Monday, but it was the <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a> that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win.</p>
<p>Collierville got six hits compared with just five for the <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a>, but the Dragons stranded eight on base.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/p/midwest-nationals/johnny-eierman-4ddda3b2d55a3845c200009a">Johnny Eierman</a> racked up three RBIs on two hits for the <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a>. <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/p/midwest-nationals/johnny-eierman-4ddda3b2d55a3845c200009a">Eierman</a> doubled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.</p>
<p>Collierville was led by a flawless day at the dish by their clean-up hitter, who went 3-3 against the <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a>&#8216; pitching. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/p/midwest-nationals/tyler-spoon-4ddda38f7b5ed638cf000085">Tyler Spoon</a> was superb in relief, pitching two scoreless innings while collecting three strikeouts and allowing two walks and two hits.</p>

<p>D-Bat mustangs was paced by the production of their 2-hole hitter, who reached base two times. He scored two runs, had one RBI, and tripled in the first inning.</p>

<p>The <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a> shut the door early on Building Champions, capturing a 9-0 victory on Friday at Fayetteville High School.</p>
<p>The game was decided quickly as the <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a> exerted their will early with eight runs in the first three innings.</p>
<p>A groundout by <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/p/midwest-nationals/johnny-eierman-4ddda3b2d55a3845c200009a">Johnny Eierman</a> in the first inning and an RBI double by <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/p/midwest-nationals/cameron-obrien-4ddda332d3543b454200011d">Cameron O&#8217;Brien</a> and an RBI double by <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/p/midwest-nationals/chris-quesada-4ddda426d55a3845d00000a4">Chris Quesada</a> in the second inning helped the <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a> put some runs on the board early.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/p/midwest-nationals/chris-quesada-4ddda426d55a3845d00000a4">Quesada</a> racked up two RBIs on two hits for the <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a>.</p>
<p>Building Champions couldn&#8217;t get anything going so long as <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/p/midwest-nationals/alex-wise-4ddda3c44eb30f606e00006f">Alex Wise</a> toed the rubber. Building Champions managed just two hits off of the the <a href="http://www.gamechanger.io/t/summer-2011/midwest-nationals-4dddb46e5d6b009e3b000003">Midwest Nationals</a>&#8216; pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out five during his four innings of work.</p>
