Former Midwest Nat Chris O’Brien Named All-American and Player-of-the-Year

Wichita State catcher Chris O’Brien has been named Missouri Valley Conference Player-of-the-Year, second team All-American by Collegiate Baseball, one of 30 semifinalists for the Golden Spikes Award, one of 13 semifinalists for the Johnny Bench Award, and semifinalist for the Dick Howser Trophy. Chris played with the Midwest Nationals 2006-2008.
